Africae populi; apud quos magnam vim mellis apes conficiunt, sed multo plus opifices viri facere dicuntur, Herodot. l. 4. ubi illos simiis tantum vesci corpusque miniô inficere refert: quemadmodum et Hyporeae Aethiopiae opuli, tota corpora rubricâ illinere leguntur.
